A company focused on sports analytics needed a way to clearly show a large amount of diverse player performance data to football clubs. Their challenge was to develop a tablet-based web application that could effectively visualise this complex information, making it easy for users to understand and act upon. The app also needed to be highly usable, even when viewed outdoors.
At Pendulum Design, we focused on creating an intelligent underlying framework for all the graphical elements within the web app. This allowed us to manage and display the extensive performance data effectively. A key consideration was that the app would often be used outdoors, so we designed a dark-focused interface. We also chose a primary colour palette for the statistical data with high contrast, ensuring everything was comfortable to view and easy to read, even in bright conditions.
The result is a user-friendly tablet web app that allows the company to visualise player performance statistics effectively.
