The Luxury Villa Collection approached Pendulum with a need to rebrand. They required a fresh logo, comprehensive brand guidelines and the design for a new content-managed website. A key challenge was ensuring the website design would accommodate their existing third-party booking system, providing a smooth experience for both the company and clients.
At Pendulum Design, the process began by developing a custom, scripted font for the new logo, creating a tight and elegant composition. To convey a premium feel, Pendulum introduced a sophisticated bronze gradient for the master logo, while also producing flat colour variations for versatile single-colour printing. Pendulum then created a comprehensive brand guidelines document to ensure all suppliers and partners used the new brand elements consistently.
Pendulum started with a detailed sitemap and prototype wireframes to map out the user journey. Upon sign-off of these parts of the project, the visual styling of the website began, directly inspired by the new logo and brand guidelines, ensuring a cohesive look and feel.
