Webexpenses, a leading expense management solution, needed a partner to help them evolve their brand and refine their digital platforms. As they grew from a fledgling company, the challenge was to undertake a comprehensive re-brand that would touch various existing materials and systems. They also needed highly functional and user-friendly interfaces for their website, mobile app, and a complex desktop administration system used by large corporations.
At Pendulum Design, our collaboration with Webexpenses has been a long-standing journey of continuous improvement. For the re-brand, we focused on updating their original, distinctive cloud emblem logo, refreshing its font and emblem position. We also created a comprehensive brand guidelines document and master logo variations for social media, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.
We've been involved in multiple iterations of their website design, creating page structures for desktop, tablet, and mobile, along with graphical assets, mockups, and product videos. A significant part of our work involved user interface design for the Webexpenses native app, prioritising high functionality and ease of use to stay competitive. We regularly updated the UI based on user feedback to ensure it remained intuitive. Furthermore, we designed the desktop administration system, a critical tool used by their large corporate clients. We use Figma for all our user interface design, which allows for a highly collaborative approach with the Webexpenses team.
The result of our ongoing partnership is a cohesive and user-friendly experience across all of Webexpenses' platforms – from their website and native app to their powerful administration system. Pendulum Design delivered an updated brand identity, responsive website designs, and highly functional interfaces for both their mobile app and the desktop administration system.
